These are some of the working sketches from the book I illustrated this summer. I found it much easier to work traditionally on paper and then take a photo and import it in to Procreate to redraw and add color.

I’m really excited to announce My new book, written by Dirk and Debbie Kagerbauer published by Belle Isle Books. I illustrated this book this past summer during quarantine . What a crazy time, but it did give me plenty of time to work on this beautifully written book. I plan on posting some of the process videos and sketches as well. Cheers!
